Project Summary
When the founders of Swyng approached me, they were in the early stages of building their indoor pickleball gym from the ground up. They had a clear vision: a brand that combined the nostalgic charm of vintage sports, specifically inspired by the iconic Andre Agassi era, with a fresh, modern twist. My role was to translate that vision into a cohesive brand identity that would resonate with both long-time sports enthusiasts and a new generation of pickleball players.
Through a series of collaborative discussions, we explored how to blend retro elements with contemporary design. The challenge was to maintain the bold, rebellious energy of the Agassi era while giving it a sleek, modern edge that aligned with Swyng’s innovative approach to the sport. The final logo and branding successfully captured this balance, paying homage to classic tennis culture while positioning Swyng as a forward-thinking leader in the pickleball space.
